The Phillies had made it to the Playoffs. They were looking like they had a serious chance at winning the Series for the first time in 28yrs. In the excitement, we decided to build a site that would congratulate the team on winning it all.
We created a site with a colonial feel since after all, they are Philadelphia's team. Using footage appropriated from colonial themed movies such as Master and Commander, we dubbed over sound from the seasons highlight plays.
It got a great reaction from everyone and the Phillies went on to win the Series trophy.
We won't take claim for the win, but we won't say we didn't help inspire them.
We also created a small cookbook to hand out to spectators at the parade that featured recipes using devil rays as the primary ingredient since they had just beat the Tampa Devil Rays in the World Series.
