So our Cooper University Hospital has broken and is running. Here's one of the spots. We had the pleasure of working with Kelly Ripa since she is the spokesperson for the Hospital. It was a great experience from start to finish.

Wow. So it's been a minute since I've added something on here. We've been pretty busy with random stuff at work. The hospital campaign is finally running after getting done with editing process. I'll post those soon. I'm reading a great book right now called The Conquest of Cool about the American advertising industry. It starts out in the 50 with Bernbach and associates wrecking the status quo and making people think differently. Great read, especially because it's a fast read. Great for an AD. I also reached back into my childhood the other day. I went to see Maiden in the Jerz. It was quite possibly the best show of all time. Exactly what I expected after listening to them for like 15yrs. Enjoy the first 2 min of the show on me...

I've been kinda out of touch the last few days. We've been on set shooting 3 new TV spots for Cooper Hospital. It's been a lot of fun, but the 4 and 5 am set calls are a little tough. Jim Mcgorman is the director on the project. He's a lot of fun to work with and he and I are both huge fans of alternative photography, so sometimes we find ourselves a little distracted with our hobby. We'll start editing next week so I will hopefully have something to show the end of May. Keep an eye out. Also, if you find yourself in South Jersey with a handle of Evan Williams and hankering to bowl, check out Baker Lanes. It's a byo bowling alley that opened in the 50s and hasn't changed a lick since.

April 27th. It's a Sunday and mark it on your calendar. I am showing photography in the Fairmount Art Crawl again. I'm showing at a space called E.R.A. which is an Ethiopian restaurant and bar. Great place if you've never been. So come on out for a day chalk full of fun, food and local artist's work. (I know my work's not on the ERA site, but there are a few artists showing there and Marie is the only one who got her act together early enough to make the website cut off.) She also works part time at Modo Mio so if you want great Italian food make a reservation a couple weeks in advance and say hi to her while you're scarfing down the best ragu you've ever had outside of Piedmonte.

Muxtape is a really cool site where you can make an online mixtape for people to stream. You can even make your own URL so that it links seamlessly with your own site. Very cool technology and great entertainment. Give a listen.

I'm also helping to put together an anti gun campaign to try to help Philly. You can read a little about my stance here.

Interesting news this morning. Rebecca (partner at work) and I just sold through a TV campaign for a hospital. There will be 4 spots total, beginning with 3 branding spots and then one to debut a new wing coming later. It's my first full TV campaign so I'll be going through the process on here if anyone cares. Our production timeline is really short so it'll be a quick group of entries. Stay tuned.

I was asked to be part of a group show in Arizona recently. The show consists of different artists customizing a vinyl figure called a Moody. They are kinda part bull part person part bear. The one I did is part of my anti violence campaing I'm working on. The organizer of the show just posted it up on his blog. Check it out here: MOODYS
